Rep. George Miller of California and Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa are introducing their bills to raise the minimum wage, with hundreds of co-sponsors who are siding with the 99% and restoring fairness in the minimum wage.
Next week, Congress also has another major opportunity to side with the common good: by not renewing the Bush tax cuts for the rich.
Their decisions -- on both the minimum wage and the Bush tax cuts -- are going to affect the balance between the 99% and the 1% for the next decade.
